This side of the church is looking at the sea, which is on couple of feats away from the church. early in the morning, the ringing bells greet the sun, every bell with it's own brilliance and sound...turned it's back on the main square, and as if the hole world, that is stationed there, this view can be seen only if you do the same. this is one of the naturally preserved churches after the big earthquake in 53-th. her authentic view ,surrounded by carefully cared vegetation, makes you stay more and more...i wish i could render all hues of the earth colors, moss and the years carved in the stones, as if they where alive ,just like the vegetation around them.

Skopiotis
Old church in zakinthos that has been destroyed in 1953.there is a legend that inside there is a footstep believed to be made form mary magdalene on her travels in estern europe.watercolor on paper.the church is stationed on a hill, from which you can see the boundaries of the not so big island . unfortunately the church has not preserved as much as ag.nikola after the hard years, but it now it is in restoration process , and maybe after one year it may not look like this. i on the other hand find an peculiar charm in this state, it looks like an century old architecture symphony . i see how it stands, how it's build stone by stone. the natural composition of the place and of the elements have inspired me to import tree connected levels in the painting, which to show what have achieved love and the cause to protect the history.

View Of Zakinthos
As the sun goes down on another summer day, the view of zakinthos is fantastic.with is long casted shadows creates a desire for painting.watercolor on paper.the sun is about to set, but there is still more time, it's early for that. the shadows are getting larger slowly, and the coolness slowly pours on ,the tiered by the another hot day, earth. i love the colors of the late afternoon, cosily and warm, the coming night promises otherwise...the clouds play it's own color dance, while the scene is illuminated...i don't have a lot of time to draw it, the picture has to seal fast the feeling, the color mood...that's why i love watercolor, only he can be as flexible , and to takes my notion of energy....
