I studied Art at the Medway College of Art and Design and at Canterbury Christ Church College University. It was at the latter I gained my degree and became qualified as a teacher.

I have now taught for more than a decade as the Head of Art & Design at a progressive secondary school, soon to gain the accolade of Specialist Arts Status. The majority of my paintings try to capture a descriptive moment in time, where the viewer can tell their own story through the stolen moment in front of them. Sometimes quirky and occasionally attempting to be amusing, I believe my paintings are always interesting on numerous levels - depending on how deeply the viewer cares to look. I love contrast, I love colour, I love shadows and I love those moments in time, but most of all, I simply love to paint. Enjoy!
