About this Artwork

This is my painting of Mac a 6 year old Jack Russell, painted in oils and extensive memory. I have painted many animals but they have always lacked detail for sake of 3 dimensional projection. For this portrait i really wanted to try and get as much detail as i dared without sacrificing the 3 dimensional quality in the dog. Still not sure if i achieved it but its a step folrward.
