trig point, Arthur's Pass New Zealand
Trig points are fairly popular on hikes in New Zealand. Having lived there for 2 years I really enjoyed the hiking and the landscape of the country. The trig point is the highest point on the mountain so it was meaningful and well as a resting point at the top of the hike! the box underneath is a 'intentions' box, meant if that you were going out for a few days you could leave you intentions if you ran into trouble you could be traced.
Although this piece is still in New Zealand , prints of it are available - please ask.

Steffan

Hi ,My name is steffan johnson, I'm from wales, near a place called caerphilly. I love to paint and raw and am in the process of relearning skills and tricks and tips I didn't get taught in art school. Funny as it may seem, techiques and basics wheren't the focus of what I was mostly taught in University, so I've set about trying to relaern and graft at what painters have done for years, and that is to study the art of drawing and painting. Form, shade and light, etc etc are key things I am interested to learn and know, so heres a little selection of work I've done, most of it fairly recent. Hope you enjoy looking at it. I am open for commisions of all sorts - so if you have a still life set up you like or want somebody to paint let us know I'd be happy to paint it. Or anything for that matter - abstract, traditional or contemporary, I'd be well up for giving it a go.
regards,Steff
