Zangzuxiangba - Tibetan Woodcut
"Zangzu" means Tibetan in Chinese and "Xiangba" is the transliteration of woodcut from Tibetan language.
Zangzuxiangba is a new Tibetan print developed and created by modern artists on base of the traditional Tibetan culture. It is different from the traditional Tibetan Buddhist prints as well as modern rising prints. For printing each work, an artist does not conduct simple repeated act, but changes its color according to his/her creative thought to enrich the works and enhance its artistic expression. Every work is irreproducible and unique.
