Contemporary artist working predominantly with acrylic.Combining colour and texture to produce bold and expressive artwork on canvas

I live and work in the picturesque rural county of Norfolk, England. I took a foundation course at the College of West Anglia, Kings Lynn and Norwich School of Art & Design, but consider myself to be mainly self taught I have been naturally drawn to expressing myself with painting and drawing since childhood. Indeed I have always been captivated by so many aspects of the arts, but my great passion has to be painting. Due to my father being in the Royal Air Force we moved around quite a bit and I spent much of my early childhood living in Cyprus. I found changing schools so frequently very difficult, therefore my studies suffered academically but art was the one subject at which I always excelled. I have had a variety of different jobs working mainly in the care industry before finally settling down to working full time painting. At present most of my efforts are divided between exhibiting locally, selling my paintings online, and juggling my time between easel and VDU.
