Dark shard is a geometrical sculpture, which
captures the various elements of mystery and imagination. the sculpture it self is a replication of shards of perspex, which shatters the room, exploding
with calligraphy. i wanted to evoke a sense of emotion by creating distorted
shapes in transparency. thus, giving the impression of illusion. the overall piece is rather graphical and architecturally composed.

I am currently studying for my A-levels (consisting of three art subjects - graphics, Interior design and graphics and also mathematics). In the fall I will be applying to University, where I hope to study Architecture.
I have found an area of art which greatly interests me, as i collate many of my ideas from all the subjects. My work is rather graphical and i tend to experiment with various medias. However, lately I have found myself to become rather rapidly bored when working on a two-dimensional surface, and I gain much more excitement when working in three-dimensions (even if just cutting through flat layers to create a three-dimensional space).
Soon I hope to be able to put some new work up which will be for sale.
