I am an artist that likes working in defferent types of mediums. I like to experiemtn with different types of techniques and styles.

I have wanted to be an artists for as long as I can remember. When it was time to start thinking about college I still wanted to be an artist. I decided to focus on graphic design as my emphasis so that I could get a job to support the rest of my art. With graphic design I'm able to go to work and create artwork and then come home and paint, draw or whatever else I want to do and still be able to pay bills. Of course someday I would love to just stay home and work on the funner stuff! I grew up with people telling me that I would never make any money as an artist and I should get a "real" job. My father even offered to buy a fastfood restaurant for me to run. I definately didn't want to run any kind of restaurant and I knew that I could make money with my artwork so I set out to prove everybody wrong. I don't care if I'm not selling any of my work (it's nice when it happens though), I just want to share my pieces with other people and hopefully they will enjoy them as much as I do. I married a great man in June of 2005 and have been encouraged by both him and his family to keep working on my artwork. I'm free to try anything I want and to be happy about what I'm doing. Making all of my artwork makes me happy. Sometimes I use it as a type of therapy. If I'm feeling down, I pull out a pad of paper and my markers and focus on my artwork for awhile and then I'm ready to take on anything else. I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I do.
