I grew up in a small town in mid-Kenya. I have always had an interest in traditional African carvings and artefacts (both west and east African). I completed a foundation course in Art at Kikambaru Art College in 1991.
My love of working with wood has allowed me to develop my own carving and colouring methods. I use these techniques to bring a modern unique twist to traditional pieces.
