Daniel English is a 22 year old independent artist from the UK.  He was born in the South of England and now lives in the North.  He is best known for producing exciting modern abstract landscapes. 

 

Dan has always had a love for art, from a young age.  He would explore art in and out of school and college, experimenting in various mediums, with anything from paints to watercolours to inks to pastels.  He now holds a GCSE and A-Level in Fine Art and a Graduate Degree in Computer Animation and Special Effects.

 

'I like to produce something unique, something different every time.  I pride myself on having the knowledge that everyone looks at works of art from their own individual perspective, and therefore I enjoy appealing to as many people as possible.' – Dan

 

Dan mainly works with acrylics on canvas, sometimes using oil paints and pastels.  He is imaginative in his approach to art and this is evident through the use of strong vibrant colour, flawless contrasts and interesting textures.  He finds inspiration in several forms ranging from daily life experiences, to being a musician, to travelling extensively in Europe and North America.
