Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile All my atwork is currrently for sale through my website.
I am self taught and have no formal training apart from the odd evening class. My inspiration comes from the natural world around me. I love to paint seascapes intinally in watercolours using a masking technique to create the effects of water on the sand. My ideas come from holidays spent by the coast, I love nothing better than to watch the waves coming into shore and the movements and patterns that the water creates.
Last year i joined Suffolk Open Studios and had a great response to my artwork, this year I will be opening my studio again in June. Look out for details nearer the time. I have taken part in the Art on the Prom at Felixstowe for the last two years, which is a great opportunity to see alot of local talent on display. My highlight so far has been to exhibit at the Mall Galleries in London this year as part of the Sue Ryder Care fundraising event.
