Winter at Loch Lubnaig

About this Artwork

Pastel on Glass paper -  Loch Lubnaig nr Callander in Stirlingshire, Scotland is a favourite spot all year round - this icy winter day with its crisp light inspired this work - the melting of the snow on the rocks is suspended by a sudden drop in temperature. It is framed in a contemporary off white frame with cream mount - This work is currently exhibiting at Ian McNab Gallery ,62 High Street, Dunblane, Stirlingshire

I love this work - i visit loch lubnaig regularly with my family and this just captures that fresh winter feeling you get especially around january when its quiet and peaceful with no tourists around. my wife is friendly with this artist and she loves her pastels too..
