The process to produce these enamel paintings was patented in 1987. The foundation of these paints is wood. The artist pinches and curves copper wire welding into delicate patterns, pasting them on to copper molds. Then, a glaze is painted on and dried in a high temperature environment in order to firm the metal and cast its gorgeous colors forever.
