Aftermath - Gloucstershire 2007

About this Artwork

I had to visit a relative in Gloucestershire after the worst of the flooding had abated. But the air  and fields were still wet, and there was  an eerie, damp atmosphere about me. I made a few sketches and this picture is the result. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to have one's home ruined, but I know life has to go on. this is my tribute to the people who fgace this struggle.
