Originally from the Isle of Skye in Scotland, I now live and work as an artist/designer in Glasgow.A Graduate in Design from Dundee School of Art I now dedicate most of my time to painting. My pictures are inspired by the island seascapes experienced in and around the Isle of Skye and the Hebrides.By utilizing a limited palette of oils in muted tones I endeavour to capture the feelings of calm solemnity which can be experienced here especially in the Winter months.
