"Creeping Ivy" is a simple photograph taken late in 2009 of a young Ivy stem climbing up the bark of a palm tree.
The fresh green of the ivy against the dark of the bark was further contrasted by desaturating the surrounds and increasing the level of darkness on the actual bark.
Printed on 80x60cm canvas and stretched around a wooden frame complete with black bleed borders to match the image.
One of my personal favourite images as I quite simply love the green on black look of this.
