I am a Newcastle based impressionist artist working mostly with acrylics, mixed media and glass paint on sheet. Occasionally I use oil, inks or watercolours. I also sculpt and indulge in photography. I would say that artistic influences have been and maybe still are the Nordic and French Impressionists such as Osslund, Erichsen, Munch, Monet and Cezanne, the Fauvists namely Derain and Vlamink plus the Japanese artist Hokusai and Hiroshige.If you wish to view more of my work please visit my website www.ghunter.co.uk
