The Bield
After Alfred Heaton Cooper
Acrylic on canvas textured art paper (140lb), The Bield is a 16th century farm at the head of Little Langdale in the English Lake District, depicted here as Heaton Cooper would have seen it 120 years ago rather than its current incarnation as a holiday cottage.

I paint, have always painted since I was a child, I paint or draw during most of my spare time and now sell some online.
Watercolour is a favourite but constantly evades my capabilities, pastel and acrylic are much more forgiving. The landscape of the Yorkshire Dales and Coastline are constant subjects being within easy reach of my home and constantly provide stunning topics.
