About this Artwork

This fertility comb is very different from the traditional styling. I have simplified it and added my interpretations. The combs represent fertility and are given to expecting women.

The wood has been dyed and the coloured patterns are achieved by delicate grazing

The piece is ready wall mountable.

c.85cm by 30cm

The piece is made out of Mukui (Kenyan hard wood) and has been treated.
