The Twins
Inspiration = Kenneth Noland, Barnett Newman, Mark Rothko. A pair of primed framed canvases, ready to hang, using a mixture of acrylics and aerosol to create this contemporary 'colour field' style abstract painting. The aerosol was applied in layers, and built up to form concentric squares. An acrylic 'splash' was then randomly applied to the paintings. These two canvases can be hung close together, or at opposite ends of the room, and work very well as a pair. They can also be hung in a portrait or landscape orientation depending on your preference. They have been finished with gloss/varnish, they are signed/stamped, and come with a certificate of authenticity. The total external frame size of both artworks together when side by side measure 120 cm by 62 cm. Each individual canvas measures 120 cm by 31 cm. Canvas depth is 4cm.
