High gloss emulsion and acrylic on hand built wooden frame. Part of the continuing 'waves' series inspired by years of trips around cornwall and north devon. Reminds me of night time boar wave, definately breaking below sea level, first wave in a set of 3. Layers of gloss and varnish started to react in strange ways, took about 3 days to dry!
