LadyBoy with Green Face(2003)
The work is inspired by the lady boys, who work as the dancers at the night time. They show their emotion and feeling on stage amazingly and I was fully touched, even before going to show on stage, when they put on makeup, wigs, costumes and ornaments that are in conflict with their lage and strong bodies. From this point, I realize that in the real world, there are seriousness, endurance and happiness. I, therefore, pick up the lives of these people and express their emotion and feeling in my works.
