Buddha image, acrylic on canvas, 12" x 12" x 1". Painted as part of a working meditation in 2007. The image is serene and calming with a mesmeric quality, and would be perfect as a focus for meditation practice, or to enhance any room or interior setting. The colours are yellows, ochres, siennas and golden tones. This painting is the first in the series: Buddha One, series one, and was the first I painted after my visit to Cambodia in autumn 2007.
