I was born in Essex in 1975.
I achieved a diploma in 'general art and design' with Braintree College.
I moved to North London where I obtained a degree in 'printed textiles and decorative arts' at Middlesex University.
Born with a passion for art I have been creative since I was a small girl.
My work is produced in a variety of media. Collage, Watercolour, Acrylic, Print, Gouache, Chalk, Pencil and Charcoal...
as long as I am getting my hands dirty I am happy!
My subject matter is very diverse. Largely my paintings originate from scenery around me. Other pieces have been influenced by quotes, dreams, thoughts, feelings, books, news and varied artists, my favourite being Van Gogh.
Some pieces have also been produced for textile repeats and shows.
I am a very emotional person who loves life, words, music, people and a wicked sense of humour. These things can all be found in my work.
