If you are here to find a piece to line the walls of your flat-packed IKEA living room it is probably best you leave, the artist does not approve of prints.
WhiteT101 is an artist based in Reading, Berkshire; His work has been described by many as: "Quirky", "Comic", "Truthful" and "Relevant". He believes that artwork should have the blood and sweat of the artist within it, you will find no carbon copies that have been spewed out of a printer here; his work is the physical manifestation of his inner ideas and thoughts.
At times the artist chooses to use the same stencil repeatedly; in this case each piece created is different to the one that came before it and the one that will come after it, despite being intrinsically connected by the same imagery.
By using a mixture of stencils, free-hand graffiti and photo manipulation WhiteT101 takes inspiration from the modern and traditional to produce meaningful unique work.
The artist describes his work as:
"The imagination of a day-dreamer and how the world is perceived through their eyes. Everything I paint is just ideas and thoughts of the 'everyday man' made real, sometimes relevant, sometimes meaningless. I don't think that it actually matters, I just need to get it out."
