This is a large graphite drawing of one of the great post war small roadsters. the triumph tr2 proved to be a big success on the track and in the car showrooms. they proved to be very popular in the u.s.a. where the economy was booming in the early 1950's. it's said that american g.i.'s returning home after the war were 'nuts' for small, but powerful, british roadsters.... the triumph tr2 was built between 1953 and 1955 by the standard motor company in great britain. there were 8,636 triumph tr2 roadsters produced. there are only 517 examples of this car remain on uk roads. the drawing has been completed on daler rowney a2 art paper and is large at 710mm x 500mm. this is a one-off drawing...there are no prints or other reproductions... if. for some reason, you are not totally happy with your purchase then a full refund will be given...it's not happened before!
