Perspective
Acrylic on canvas. i became very interested in scale and contrast. to echo this i made a rather large canvas on which to portray the enormity and magnificence of the tree against the dull english sky, to show the dizzying, sweeping feeling one gets when you stand under and look up at these collosal forms of life.

Reflection
Acrylic and ink on canvas. scene set up with mirrors and figure, photograph taken and adjusted in various different colour ways - even though reflections are true, the nature of the position of the mirrors meant that each reflection had a different representation. then, freehand, transferred the image onto canvas looking at the setup and only at the photograph for colour guidance. the image is much sharper, unfortunately its the best my humble digital camera could muster.
