I am Gruffudd (pronounced as Griffith, but with the "th" as in "the"), a multi-disciplinary artist working in not just visual and sculpture, but also music and literature, unashamedly Keltic and unashamedly Pagan. My art is, perhaps, divinely inspired - indeed, I claim no special talent for myself, even if the works I produce are those of a talented hand. Neither do I seek fame unbounded, for fame tends to bind one to gilded manacles. But I am keen, as far as possible, to see the art I create gladdening the hearts of those with the eyes to see, or the ears to hear, their beauty.
Of course, not everyone will appreciate, especially if their cultural centre is stuck in 5th century BC Athens, or the height of the Roman empire, or the icons of the Church - for my inspiration is largely taken from the ways and mythology of my ancestors. It is, therefore, a little sojourn into ancient British history, with tangents into other areas run off on.
